i forgot my back up password on my Samsung Galaxy s5,

I forgot my back up password and cannot enter the phone if my finger scanner is not working.How do i reset the back up password on my Samsung Galaxy s5 phone

You unlock the phone, then you go to settings/Security/Lockscreen and reset it.

If you can't unlock the phone, you've turned it into a paper weight.
