I gather it's normal for the phone to be warm while wireless charging?

I use a Samsung wireless charger, and, while the weather is pretty hot at the moment-that probably doesn't help, is it normal/fine that the battery temp reads in the mid-high 90s F while it's wireless charging?

Yeah my note 9 gets hot a little sitting on wireless charger , but my s10+ little more then the note 9

If you have a case on, that might increase the heat a little, since the case might prevent it from dissipating as efficiently.

Not just the case, but a warning to wireless charging users who also use a phone mount with a metal piece which attaches by a magnet. Do Not wirelessly charge with this on your phone.

And if the charging plate is horizontal, all the heat from the plate goes up - into the phone. Stand chargers, where the phone is sitting at an angle, heat less from wireless charging.

I disabled Fast cable and Fast wireless charging shortly after getting the phone new. Fast = more heat when charging = reduced battery lifespan. If I have time to put it on a wireless charger, I don't need it charging fast and generating heat and whether it makes a difference or not I am still gettinh good battery life almost two years later.

Fast charging, as used in phones, isn't fast charging as used by the battery industry - and even that doesn't shorten the lifespan. A lithium battery can take a charge at its rated current, so if it's rated at 3300mAh, it can take a charge up to 3300mA (3.3 Amps). And "fast charging" seldom exceeds 2 Amps on any phone.

Well, hell, right now the heat index here says 100 degree, and just using my phone for a bit with WIFI on, the phone battery says 100 degrees. God I can't wait for fall.
