I get error message 944 saying I can not instsll go sms pro on my galaxy s4. why?

I had go sms pro on my Galaxy s4. Something happened and the screen became inoperable (couldn't read menu or icons). So I uninstalled the app & tried to reinstall it. Every time I try to install it I get an error message 944. Help.

I'm still getting Error code 944 on Messenger and iHeartRadio. I've updated a few other apps with no problems. It's crazy. I've contacted Google by email twice and have yet to get a response.

Same just like mine. S4 active. When trying to update messenger and yahoo mail, it says error 944. Then I tried uninstalling it, and now I can't even install it! What's up with google play store?

Yup. Getting the same error message on Google Play Store (944). Cannot download anything from there. I had a popup earlier in the day saying my Android was being updated. Then it rebooted phone. Now I get 944 rvery time I try and update any apps. 《Update for ......... could not be downloaded due to an error 944》

So I got an update for Google Play Services to download and it did just fine moments ago. Along with the Android Central app. I then went back into the Google Play Store to see if I could download the newest versions of YouTube and AOL, but again, still a no go. Getting 944. Ticking me off big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P. S. Samsung Galaxy S3.
