I had stopped receiving email notifications on my X and now I'm just stuck. Now all I get now is "CONNECTION ERROR" NOTIFICATION everything is set up correctly. does anyone have any ideas besides factory reset (don't want to do that because I don't want to loose my account info and friends on foursquare and latitude. As I understand it I won't have my friends on either and would have to resend friends request).

I had this same problem after installing google docs. Back to normal once I uninstalled the app. What apps did you install before the issue started. It is easier to remove apps to see if it starts working normally.

Have you tried removing and readding the email account. I had this issue once and that's what I did to fix it.

I have checked different apps. I just deleted the account 4x and FINALLY got it back up and running. Im getting my notification now. I'll see how long this will last.

Not sure on latitude, but you will not lose foursquare friends. I have wiped my DX numerous times and have even SBF'd without losing my foursquare friends.

What are you talking about? That information is saved by foursquare and Google (for Latitude). Log back in and it should all be there.

I have experienced issues with my email but it ended being the email provider was having issues. This issues isn't always the phone..

Try rebooting and try again.

I was told by "VZ" I would lose this information if I do a factory reset in both accounts.

You should not loose information but you will have to reinstall app and log back in, the settings and data should be stored on the apps server.... You can download My Backup or SpriteBackup and back everything up and then restore the apps from the app after reset.
