can you take side by side photo with iphone or something similar ? Because this yellowish tone is killing me. LG just does it no matter what.

Samung galaxy s5 on the left nexus on the right at 100 brightness


the nexus does have a cheap screen protector on
the speaker does blend in but it does look greyish in light hits it the right way

speaker is ok when its turned up it is loud but anything below 50 seems quite

Definitely warm tones! Whites look yellowish... i just spent a couple of hours playing on my brothers iphone 6s and can't get used to ui. First of all the third party apps have no in app setting options. You always got to go to in-OS settings( this is dumb) back button is always in left upper conner. 3D touch is nice but i guess this is just a gimmicky feature for now no real advantages. Scrolling is way slower, N5 just flies when scrolling up and down the page. On iphone 6s you have to constantly scroll and scroll( Maybe it's just me) Notification drawer is confusing.. its monotone colors and fonts makes you think this is some sort of a live feed. Not helpful at all.

So you'd be happier with the magenta hue of the Samsung? Every phone has a tendency towards a particular display hue. To me the iPhone looks very cold and bluish, AMOLED screens seem blue to me. Whatever the hue you get used to it very quickly. I remember when I used colour film - different brands had different tendencies, some cold, some warm. Same with TV displays . . .

Yes I'm holding out until I can see Battery life is any good.

My last nexus Galaxy nexus for all the good reasons to have it had terrible battery life.

I know Nexus 4,5 and 6 have improved but we need it be on same level of the software optimisation that Samsung or Sony put on their Droids.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I prefer a warmer hue than a colder one. I also prefer that with my LED light bulbs!

this is the graph of my battery today but this was not normal usage as i have been using it alot more then what i would normally

Question about the Active Display: can you wave over the screen to view the clock and notifications like a Moto X? Also, have you played with having Google Now always listening?

no with the waving over the screen

google now always listening work fine

just going back to a previous question the phone always wakes up when you pick it up when there is a notification but is hit and miss if there is no notification

Looks like it charges really quick based on that line. I also ordered a 5x but was worried about it charging slow. Can't go back to normal charging speeds
