The 810, regardless of version, has had issues with throttling/overheating. At this point, it wouldn't deter me from buying a phone using the chipset, but I'm not sure I'd say it was better than the 808. Although being able to utilize DDR4 RAM helps it's case.

I think ill get the Nexus 5 then. I was thinking the 6P but its not even in stock now and its 700$ for 32g vs 560$ of nexus 5X.

How fast is the double tap on the power button at launching the camera? The double click the home button on the s6 was really fast but the double tap the home button the g4 was much slower. Curious how this one is?

$700!? Whoa. What country? My 32GB 6p was $530 USD including sales tax.

Like I said, I wouldn't be deterred from buying a phone with an 810 in it. If you want the 5X for other reasons, that's fine, but don't pass up on the 6P purely because of the chipset if it checks off all the other boxes for you.

The biggest phone i have owned is 5" so im not even sure i would like a phablet. I mostly want it for Watching videos, browsing, checking email, and playing games. Not sure i really need the QUAD HD sreen to do that plus i want a good battery life.

Phones i owned in past were Samsung Galaxy S4, Iphone 6.

Can anyone who's device has arrived confirm the output markings on the power adapter?

Is it just marked up as 5V 3A? Or does it mention other voltages?

Also.. why does it ship in black with a shiny white adapter!! Google dont even sell a white one on the UK store.. only black!! Its revolting! Looks like an apple product.

Just be glad you aren't in the UK.. We are paying 585 USD for the 5x (32GB)!! Plus we don't get the 50$ credit either.

So it Geekbenches better than everything on single core except the Nexus 9, S6 Edge and Note 5. And better than everything except the S6, Note 5 and Note 4 on multi-core? This is a bit better performance than expected no?

All your wants are all the reasons people get a phablet to begin with imo. The 6p will most likely have better battery life (huge battery in it) and videos and games would just look better on bigger higher res screen. Not to mention browsing, as you could see more of webpages.

On Amazon.com there are some USB C to USB A cables by Spigen that are $10/each.

OnePlus is selling an USB C to microUSB adapter for $5/each.
