I got one! Homescreen Widget Recommendations?

I'm starting to hate myself because I am on a technology spending spree (just picked up the Note 2 a week ago) but today I bought the GN 10.1! I was going to wait for the 8.0 to come out, but I'm picky of the screen orientation on tablets. In my opinion, the 10.1 was made more for landscape view and the 8.0 was for portrait view, and I like the landscape view (plus the bigger screen) a lot more.

As of right now, I'm kind of at a loss of what to do with it. It's essentially how I am with any new technology. I research and learn the crap out of it before I buy it, and then am overwhelmed when I first turn it on!

Currently I'm going to be mainly using it for leisure, but once I go to university next year I'll likely be using it for more academic purposes.

So does anyone have any good app/widget recommendations? I'm especially looking for recommendations of BIG homescreen widgets that have my weather and news plus Twitter and Facebook all in one place if that's even possible haha.

Well I use Plume as my twitter widget and its really good. As for all of those in one place, I assume you mean all in 1 widget which I'm not aware of. But there is so much screen to place things here I've gotten down to 3 home screens and im struggling to fill that!

You can always use separate widgets for those functions and just dedicate them all to one home screen.

Android Pro Widgets has something called Timeline that displays your Facebook and Twitter feeds together. APW has 40 different widget selections. I really like their stuff.

Glass Widget is a nice homescreen widget that combines clock, weather, date, calendar and news feed in a nice transparent widget.

Pulse is my favorite news reader app. It has a widget option as well.
