Nope... coming from a 3g phone right now... More proof here btw. I will just have to call customer support. Or go there and activate a razer and then return it or something... Hopefully I can get this done soon!

I bought a microsim from best buy. I dont know if thats the issue since they are not who I bought the phone from. They too refused to activate it for me. I will post back about what Verizon customer support says. Otherwise, I might try to go get a Razr and then swap the sim

I heard someone called customer rep and they ask them to return the device or something like that but not really sure how the story goes but I'd just go get a razr or something.
Doesn't nexus use the same sim as what's out now or a smaller one?

I do have an upgrade to use so I could activate the Razr then sell it on Swappa or craigslist. No big deal I guess.

Cool thing about this thread is that it proves to the internet trolling defenders that when somebody looks like a liar and acts like a liar, they are probably a liar. Yet, we still end up with somebody who truly got the phone anyway, and he shows how very easy it is to prove you have said phone and that people who actually have the item are more than willing to provide proof.

I have an untouched microsim from verizon, but you live in MD lol.. to far.

you shouldnt buy a phone for it.. and if you have an upgrade def save it for the new phones next year.. you should beable to buy a microsim without actually buying a phone.

Seems like a lot of expense and hassle just to get the phone a week early. But whatever floats your boat. While I want one, I don't want one that bad. In fact, I'm not sure I'm even going to bother now until after the 1st of the year. That being said, I hope you enjoy it!
