Really guys before you upgrade search the internet for lollipop problems, I upgraded yesterday and already I wish I could go back to kit kat.
Some problems: no mobile data on/off toggle works, no silent toggle on/off works (Google introduced a very annoying priority mode-completely useless) etc

Hi mate,

I am on the brink of throwing my z3c out of the window after I have upgraded to lollipop... (Although I am not sure if it's only that or the sony upgrade which has made my UI completely useless.

I have downlowaded power toggle myself but cannot understand what does it do... Please help me out.

Any chance we can downgrade back to 4.4.4 maybe?

Hi Konko, the power toggle replaced all my previous widgets (which most of them were useless with lollypop). You can add or remove toggles on the power toggle bar, and then take the bar and put it on your screen. For example I have wifi, mobile data, volumes, and bluetooth. Its very useful and saved me throwing the phone out of the window also. I dont think but I dont know for sure if you can go back to kit kat. A search I did on the net didnt help so probably u cant go back.

The mobile data toggle is still there, it's just hiding.
Tap on the notifications, then swipe the notifications bar to the left (or right) to bring up the quick settings.
From there, tap on the pen icon at the top to edit the displayed toggle buttons. You can add the mobile data button to toggle buttons displayed.

The silent/vibrate/sound buttons have moved to the volume buttons screen. To switch to vibrate, you need to turn the volume all the way down. (I wish they kept the vibrate button)

The mobile toggle works just as advertised on mine Z3C, and as for silent mode - i think it is far better than the old silent mode.

I can still remember when Jellybean came out, all the screams about this and that, people tearing their hair out with frustrations. Then came all the fixes which sorted things out.
I am in South Africa, we usually get the updates towards the end and when we do, we get the one update, and then about a weeks time the next one when the fix comes in.
I cant believe that there are so many issues with Lollipop, but i am sure, the fixes will come.

Which mobile data do you have Pablo that works? I want to try it, thanks

See BenL's post above. The data toggle is accessible if you swipe down the dark grey notification menu. There is however no volume-mute toggle.

If you're using Power Toggles you also have the option to place the toggle bar/s in your notification bar rather than having a homescreen widget - so that it is available in any app. Same with Notification Toggle.

Hey there guys, yep well just updated to lollipop and there is a problem with the bluetooth. you can't turn on or off the visibltly. Once you turn on your bluetooth everyone see you untill you turn it off your self, which means i can now not use my smartband as everyone will see my phone one word grrrrrrrrrr, hope this makes any sence . If anyone has found a work around that would be great
Cheers everyone

Got it on my nexus 7 and only while in the settings menu for Bluetooth will your phone be visible, otherwise it will be hid. Hope that helps 😃

Sent from my Z3C
