I have a $1,000 Flagship pixel 3XL, and I am constantly jealous of 2 year old smartphones...

I have the same headphones. You should have been able to disable LDAC by invoking the Sony equalizer or changed the software settings in the Sony App. LDAC is great though. I hope I don't have that trouble. Works fine in the Pixel.

I could have disabled LDAC but then it would use AptX. The S10 doesn't support AptX HD for some idiotic reason.

Have you tried adjusting the Bluetooth settings in Android Pie Developer mode?

Yes. That's how I knew it couldn't play audio using LDAC 990kbps...lower bit rate was fine. Other codecs like AptX, AAC, SBC were fine. I tried adjusting every Bluetooth setting available, nothing made a difference. It doesn't matter to me anymore, I returned the phone as I said.

I do love my Pixel for all of the little features that Google only puts on it's Pixels (plus timely monthly updates), but like for so many others, the absolute killer feature is the camera. Unfortunately, it's also my primary source of frustration with the phone. If I ever have more than a few resource intensive apps, and try to launch the camera app, or any app that requires the camera, my phone will literally freeze for 3-4 seconds (feels like longer) before the camera opens. Even then, it will stutter and not show a smooth image for another 2-3 seconds. If I'm trying to take a video right away, the video will fail to record and give me an error. Oh, and I'm listening to Spotify, my Pixel will kill it, every time.

I've been reading every S10 review somehow hoping Samsung would nail the camera game and outdo Google... but it hasn't happened. The consensus still seems to be the Pixel is king. Until a phone can top Google's camera, I'm just going to have to deal with the frustrations.

That Spotify/music app closing problem was resolved....very strange

Not for me. I was at the gym last week (post March update) had only two apps open, Jefit and Spotify, accidentally hit the camera app, which proceeded to freeze the phone as mentioned, and then the phone closed Spotify. :(

Without even trying to take a picture?

The original problem was that the camera would cause music apps to close but only while taking photos especially those that required multiple frames. I just for the hell of tried it just now and can't replicate what is happening to you. Have you tried any troubleshooting?

I actually did take a picture accidentally since i was slamming my finger on the screen trying to get it to go back to the home screen.

Not sure what troubleshooting I can try? I purposely close all of my apps when I go to the gym to only have Jefit and Spotify running so nothing can close either application accidentally. It's okay... I can hang on til the Pixel 4 comes out with 12gb of RAM.. and all will be well with the world. :)

Probably more like 6 or 8 gigabytes. Since the original issue was corrected that caused these conflicts was memory mangaement and related to over aggressive adaptive battery I'm not sure turned adaptive battery off would help. It could be a third party causing problems but that would be hard to pin down. As painful as it sounds I would try a factory reset after backing up the phone and install as few apps as possible to see if there is some corrupt software causing the problem. You could also try contacting Google for a replacement if resetting doesn't work.
