I have a floating window on my screen which can't be removed.

It basically replicates in miniature what I am seeing on the main screen. But has two black vertical rectangles either side. And it can be expanded to the width of the main screen.

It also seems to have blocked my capacity to take a screen shot.
I get told that I am "Prevented by Security Policy"

I have no idea how all this happened

Any ideas what I can do?

Try to turn off your developers option,
