I have. a friend who bought a used rooted thunderbolt. And set up all his apps and started playing some games. He now wants to go back to stock but doesent want to lose all his apps and game data. Could he use something like my backup pro root to Backup everything up and use my backup to bring it all back. Or is he better off using something else.

Titanium backup works great. Is your friend going to flash stock rom and unroot, or keep root access? Titanium needs root access to backup and restore apps and data. If they want to be unrooted they will have to restore their apps while the phone is rooted then proceed to unroot.

He is going to unroot. I was hoping that my backuppro would work with the data I got from my backuppro root
