How about Quick Charge? I've read that it doesn't have it, but how can that be? It's a Qualcomm feature and two years old at this point. Do you have any literature/discussions/anything on the box it came in that can confirm or refute this?
Also (I know it's way too soon to be definitive) but what are you seeing in terms of battery life? You've had it for a while, been using it on and off -- what % are you down to; what's eating the battery and by how much; what about that app/feature that can notify you of renegade apps draining the battery?

Can you tell how the leather back is attached? Is there any chance that it might start to peel off after a year or 2?
Is the battery the same as the G3? I know the rating is the same (3000) but is it the exact same battery - meaning those with extra batteries for the G3 can use in the G4?
How does the leather with the stitching sit flat on a desk? Does it rock all over the place when pressing towards the edge of the screen?

It's a thin layer of leather stretched over plastic with some kind of adhesive, so you're unlikely to have problems with the leather coming off within the first year.
That having been said, with a lot of heat or constant removal of the backing it wouldn't shock me.

There's right around 2.5 seconds between a double tap on the rear volume key and being able to take a photo.

So you are basically saying if you have the S6 and G4, the former would be faster at taking the photo.

Yeah, the Galaxy S6 launches and is ready to take a photo about a second faster.
Never played with a Moto X, but say compared to an M8, which I do have and occasionally get annoyed at its curved back.
Is the rocking made worse by the stiching? would you say that a non leather one would be more stable?

Manual mode on the included camera app lets you shoot jpg+dng together, and the files can be found in the Gallery.

There doesn't appear to be anything native to the phone that enables this feature.
Actually, looks not so good. Look at the blow out on the handle of the light saber compared to the GS6. Of course, it could be the phones were setting exposure at different locations, or could be pre production software, hopefully.
