The screen is much better than the Gnex. Blacks are as deep but looks more natural. Speed is very impressive but wouldnt say mindblowing. Apps open much faster however but think that is more about the Ram. Google now is about the same..
We should disassemble the Nexus 4 to check if it's the same sensor as AT&T Optimus G
For the software, LG always sucked with it. I'm glad it's pure AOSP and directly supported by Google.
Is the Gorilla glass actually as strong as a gorilla?
That's already been answered.... Tuesday, I believe. By Phil.
- To clear any confusion: do both the "unlocked" and "Tmobile" versions of the Nexus 4 support 42mbps HSPA+? (ie: I am with Tmobile in a 42mbps HSPA+ city, but am not on a contract and don't want to be on one, so I wanted to get the unlocked version and pray it supported 42mbps.)
You can get that answer on the Play store page, under "In the box." Jeez....Does it have [such and such accessory]?
Actually not too hard to compare. Pop your SIM in a phone you kinda know well (another daily driver), look at Settings | About Phone | Network, note the Signal Strength, then do the same on the phone under test. No, it's not scientific, but I'd presume you see similar numbers (dBm, asu). If you don't, that's notable.... Why do people always ask that as if signals are the same everywhere? That's not to say there can't be blanket issues (see Verizon GNex), but that's not exactly something you can quantify from a single usage case. Gonna wait till they go on sale for that to pop up.
Yes. You're going to see all sorts of weird angles and reflections and stuff in still pics. The one I posted is accurate, but it's not like the back of the phone looks like that all the time. It's really nicely done.

does it come with that little rounding thingy lol for wireless charging out of the box? or do I have to purchase it separately ?

Please post some comparison screen shots.
As reviews start coming out, more information and pictures will allow us to really dig in and figure out the camera...just wish that was now...lol. but yes a teardown is probably necessary to determine if the sensors are in fact the same. As long as the end result on the Nexus 4 is good, I guess it won't matter. just hoping that reviews confirm this.
