I have a Nexus 4, you have questions. Fire away.

Have you tried miracast wireless display? How is the performance? Are you planning to cover it in your full review?

thanks

Hey Phil,
The S4 Pro SoC that's used in the Nexus4 is supposed to have an integrated LTE radio on-chip correct?
I'm confused as to why Rubin is saying things like "two radios in a device raises the cost and diminishes battery life" to explain why they're not supporting LTE.
Doesn't the Nexus4 actually have two radios in it?

Have any insight?

It's CHEAPER without LTE radio. And GSM radios are REALLY CHEAP. And the N4 IS EXTREMELY CHEAP.

Hi,
I had bad experience with LG G2x. Do you think I should give LG another chance to win my confidence on their company product's.

Personally? I would. But I'd also be aware of the return time. If you don't like it, get your money back. And read as many reviews as you can.

I've seen it demoed on the Optimus G, and it went nice and smooth. Haven't gotten to try on here yet.

Unless you live down the street from Phil, that's not really that important...

I disagree... even if its in a different area... it will show the phone ability to stay consistant. just like with any test run it 10 times and find an average.
I too am interested... speedtest Phil?

No, i meant, i got your question. and from phils post it dont seem like a wide screen shot. but we have to wait and see.

Oh, I see. I was surfing the Nexus 4 google site, and the sample shots appear to be 16:9 -> Nexus ? Google

Also, on the xda post of the camera samples, some of the pictures were 16:9, but during a concert. So, maybe they were taking while recording a video. Well, this would be a nice feature for me, since I enjoy seeing my pictures on a LED tv - > https://plus.google.com/photos/102763805582608212376/albums/5804328422708580273

The new camera app even has some strange thing... it automaticaly makes a zoom so that what you are seeing fills all of the screen (aside from the navigation bts). When you take the picture, there it is on 4:3. I tried the new camera app on my gnex.

I've heard it mentioned that they made some improvements to the expandable notifications, but I haven't found any specifics online. Have you noticed anything new with them? Thanks!

Right now I have the worst samsung phone ever made, the Droid Charge, and I'm due for an upgrade. Is it worth buying an unlocked Nexus 4 and using At&t in the North East? or should I go Galaxy S3?? I have Verizon

Please reply,

Thanks

What part of the North East? Rural or urban? Do you have good T-mobile coverage in your area? If you do, you will get significantly faster speeds with T-Mobile since this device supports HSPA+ 42mbps, but lacks LTE.

I'm in NYC and if we're strictly comparing HSPA+ download speeds between ATT and T-Mobile, T-mobile wins almost every time. Plus, you'll save some money on your monthly bill.
