I have a Nexus 4, you have questions. Fire away.

Is it bright enough to use outdoors on a sunny day?

Bonus Question: Will the Chicago Cubs win the world series in my lifetime?

Engadgets review had some disappointing things to say about battery life and performance compared to the Optimus G, so I really want to see what Phil's review has to say. Then again, I don't know if he'll be doing a direct side-by-side comparison type deal in his review or just taking it on by itself.

At least it's confirmed that the camera is better for the most part. (better than Optimus G and the G Nexus)

Congrats on your new Nexus 4, But I want to know if you have T-mobile sim. If yes then does it allow wi-fi calling. Please let me know.

Thanks

-You will need to exchange your sim for a Micro SIM from Tmobile. They sell kits for $10. Call them and ask.
-Tmobile confirmed they will not be supporting Wifi Calling with the Nexus 4. Not even the one you can buy through them.

I read today about security improvements in 4.2 and the Play Store, which is good. On a downer note Anandtech wrote today that the chrome browser doesn't seem to be optimized for quadcore, but I guess a little time is permitted to get things rolling with the new hardware. Maybe you could get Jerry's input on these geeky issues for your review.

I'm probably going to buy 3 Nexus 4s, terminate Sprint 6 months early, and go on a Tmobile unlimited value plan for the family. That way, I get my geek satisfaction, and can recoup my costs in about 13 months.
The battery life extension options, like a mophie juice pack, might be a popular accessory, unfortunately. Ugh, more life cycle costs to consider in this decision.
Android Central, and your podcasts are great. Thanks.

Can you test it with headphones with inline mic/button to see if they work?

The Nexus 7 didn't support inline mic/button, the Galaxy Nexus did.
Already answered. It's a phone. Not working with phone headsets would remarkably stoopid.

The Nexus 7 is not a phone (though wired for a mic would've been handy). We'll have to wait 'n see on the N7 32GB 3G.
Does the back look that twinkly-g@y in person?
Not according to these pics from AC. BTW, to be politically correct, I call it the LG Hanna Montana Nexus 4. YMMV.
Then why do they say 2 days possibly 4?
I ignore most of what Cyanogen-man posts, or take them with healthy disbelief.

So when are all the tech reviews going to be released? I'm assuming there's some sort of "news blackout" on full reviews until a certain date? I haven't seen a full review on any site. Phil has teased us with his.. :(
The Verge already has one. Haven't read/viewed. But I know ... first to review ain't necessarily the best to review. ;)

In Phil we trust.

Where is the Android Central Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 review?!?!?!? - YouTube

Had this crazy idea that maybe the Nexus 4 (and Nexus 10) deserved more than a 36-hour test, ya know? This ain't [insert every other Android phone here].
LMAO. My coworkers here just looked around to see why I was laughing so hard....

BTW ... "That's a really big microphone."[1]

I never got an answer to my question about your manicure.
Maybe his daughter did it, and that's where he recorded the "Daddy, are you DONE YET?" ;)

Did they mention how LONG they'd been testing it to make such pronouncements about battery life?

Or buy a cutter and adapter kit from Amzn for < $10.

Please someone, tell me why a web browser would need to be "optimized" to use multiple cores? What possible gain would you get (besides draining the battery much, much faster)?

It's pretty good. HOX is a tad better outside, I think. But it's usable.

Also: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

No Wifi calling. that's a T-Mobile feature. Not a Nexus feature.

Did the Sprint GNex have Sprint ID? Same sort of thing.

It has HDR. I'll be taking a bunch of shots this weekend.
Bonus karma points awarded if you go to the Naval Aviation Museum and take some pics of the lovely USCG H52-A that resides there in all her gleaming beauty. (I helped refurbish it for the museum many years ago.)
