I have a note 8 USA current version and I cannot change the default ringtone on the phone. .

I can assign ring tones to contacts but not a generic ringtone. It is stuck on the bellboy ringtone that comes with the phone.
I have been able to do this in the past but I also have had some security updates lately.
I have been every where searching online and found nothing.
I also moved some tones to the internal storage and it still picks up the default of bellboy when someone calls even though I have it selected on something else.

You're not even able to change it to one of the other preinstalled ringtones? Or have you only been trying to use custom ringtones?
