I have a problem with Google play downloading and Download manager downloading

Hello. I have a problem with the downloading of a game I want to play. I am using alcatel PIXI and the download manager does the download faster than Google Play store and gives me the same error over and over again. May you help me?

That's a 5½ year old phone, running Android 2.3 - it's time to sell it for what it's worth (about $5) and buy something more current. It uses 2G, which is gone, and 3G, which is going away soon. Then it will be worth $5 less.

Welcome to Android Central! There are a number of different phones with the Pixi name, so it might not be that old. Have you already tried clearing the app cache/data for both the Play Store app and the Download Manager app? To find the latter, go to Settings>Apps, then Menu>Show System.
