I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 which suddenly dead while charger connected. And it is now getting heated even when the battery is not inserted. Please give me an idea about what might have happened. The nearby service centre people seems like they aren't concerned with the issue.

Welcome to Android Central! If the same thing happens with a new or different battery, then there might be a problem with the charging port. When you say the service center people aren't concerned, are you saying that they haven't noticed that it's not charging at all?

That says that the charging circuit is bad. Since it's probably on the motherboard, that's what has to be replaced. It's cheaper to buy a gently used one on swappa.com. (You'll lose all your data if the motherboard is replaced, so getting another phone won't change that.)

As for the service people, some shops don't care. If you pay them they'll work on your phone (and maybe fix it, maybe not fix it), but if you don't pay them, they have better things to do - like dealing with customers who pay them. (I'd stay out of a repair shop like that. They may be nearby, but nearby and bad isn't the same as far but good.)
