I have a Samsung Note 4 and I have 3 GMAIL accounts. The send option is not working

I have a Samsung Note 4 and I have 3 GMAIL accounts. I have set up all 3 accounts on my phone. I receive mails but I am unable to sent mails. how do i fix this problem. my current settings for my mails are: smtp: gmail.com, security type is SSL and port is 465, require sign in - is ticked.

When I set up the outgoing settings I get the following error message: unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. no response from server

Why are you not just using the Gmail app vs the Email App?

If this just happened, it might be you're one of the lucky people affected by a known Gmail outage. Give it a little time and if that is the problem Google will get it going before long.

If things don't straighten up on their own after Google gets Gmail fixed, post back here and we'll try to sort this out.
