I have a Samsung S6 Edge Plus SM-G928F Android version 7

The phone storage shows 27Gb of usage and list MY files amounting to 8Gb. What is using all that storage??I have gone through each folder in internal storage and deleted temp and old stuff (including hidden files) and yet it hardly made a dent in it.

Surely this isn't the operating system....20Gb?

Any thoughts or pointers would be appreciated.

What's the total storage for the phone? Show us a screenshot of the Settings>Storage screen: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

If you use 3rd party messaging apps like Telegram or kik, try clearing the app caches and app data for those apps.

DiskUsage can help you figure out what's taking up the storage.
