I have a zte pro and my phone keeps going off with the amber alert

I have a zte pro and my phone keeps going off with the amber alert tone but there is no alert. Just the noise. I looked for the "all apps" icon and it doesn't exist and i have never deleted any icons off my phone. Help! Linda

Welcome to Android Central! Is this the ZTE Zmax Pro? Go to the system settings and search the settings for "Emergency Alerts." Make sure the Alert Reminder Sound is turned off.

By "all apps icon," are you talking about the App Drawer button, the one that looks like a circle with a grid of dots in it?
