To be honest, with my expierence there isnt to much for me to compare here. Even though the Atrix has its 1GB of RAM and its Dual Core Processor, Im not noticing that much of a difference in speed with the Infuses 512MB of Ram and a 1.2Ghz Hummingbird Processor. The Atrix was a super fast phone. But the Infuse is not really behind it that much. It multitask's great and switches between screens sometimes it seems faster then what the Atrix did. And the people that talk about the battery cover I mean come on. Its a slab of plastic that covers the battery. Its durable and does what it needs to do. And has a pretty cool texture to it. Yes its a little flimsy but its like bendable plastic. So its not like its easy to break.

But theres a big plus here. In my expierence. The Infuse can Be played with for a long time Like I did awhile ago and didnt feel no "heat" from the Processor. Now the Atrix on the other hand? Heh, Within 2 minutes it started heating up. Then I had to almost wear mittens when I would hold it in my hand. That was a really big turn off for me. Not everyone is expierencing that but I sure did. And I didnt like it at all. Plus the wifi on it would cut in and out and interupt with the network at a certain point in the house where I am most of the time. That really sucked for me because most of the time when im messing around on the phone Im always around Wifi. And that seemend to make my MB per month go up on my plan. Not a good sign for me. Others have had the wifi issue as well. Let me break some parts down and tell you my expierence.

-Atrix Dual Core Processor and 1GB RAM vs Infuse 1.2Ghz Processor and 512MB RAM: If I didnt know what processors were, I wouldnt be able to tell the difference in the speed between the both. The Infuse at times seemed to move just as quick as the Atrix did.

-1.2MP FFC and 8MP Rear Infuse vs VGA FFC and 5MP Rear Atrix: In this contest its obvious. The Samsung took much better pictures and the photos look a bit sharper then they do on the Atrix. Even the FFC on the Infuse actually had a better still image shot then the Atrix did.

-Sound Quality with the rear Speaker: The Infuse burts out nicely, but I think the Atrix took the hand with this one. The Atrix was more of a pretty clear device when playing music through the rear speaker and headphones. Seemend a little bit more louder, not as much.

-Call Quality: Who cares? We dont use these phones to hardly talk anyway. Ok, even when I actually do have to use it, they both seem to be about equal in my opinion.

-The WEIGHT: MY GOD! lol I think I can put 2 Infuse's together and it still wouldnt weigh as much as the Atrix did. Even though the Infuse is bigger, its thinner and a hell of a lot lighter. Im actually suprised by how light the phone is. Almost feels like cheap junk. But trust me, the Plastic quality on it isnt at all. Its definitely a quality device for its really really light weight.

-Screen Size? Should I say more really? 4.5" vs 4" is really more of a difference. No, I didnt hear that from anyones girlfriend, Im just saying that as my personal observation :).

-qHD vs Super AmoLED+: To me? Almost a night and day difference. When I can stand outside with direct sunlight hitting my phones screen and still see everything crystal clear Im pretty happy. The Moto couldnt do that due to its qHD. Which by the way is a fantastic screen. Dont get me wrong, I loved it and everything looked crisp. But Super Amoled cant be beaten. And I dont care what anyone says about that. The colors pop out dramatically. Everything is clear, crisp and bright. And when your looking at black, Yup......its black from ALL angles! Super Amoleds a BEAST! ( I already knew this version would be since Ive owned the Captivate and havent seen a better Android screen since. Until the Infuse looked back at me)

Atrix 4G HUSPKAALLALAA vs Infuse 4G 14.0 HUSPPAKKKALLLLALALALLA: Didnt notice much of a difference. The damn thing is pretty sharp on 3G and Im foundled by the 4G name. Ive now named my phone the Infuse 32G. Which is 32Grams of Cocaine that make the phone scream and roar, up and down all day everyday!

Build Quality: Ill give this one to the Atrix. The Quality of the Atrix feels like an expensive device due to its weight and its really strong Plastic. If I dropped the Atrix (Which I have) It survived almost without a hitch. If I dropped the Infuse (Which I hope not to) Im pretty sure Ill probably be getting a replacement under insurrance. That 5 bucks a month has to play its part if that happens.

Gorilla Glass vs Gorilla Glass: Now thats a hell'ov a lot of Animal Glass going on there. But you know what? There both scratch resistant and can handle a lot of pressure. And they both take the flag on this comparison. So in reality who wins? Um, no one. They both have it. They both didnt try to be better then one another when the put there glass down. Thats where they actually made a comprimise together.

I hope you guys liked my little review here. Maybe one day Ill actually do this type of thing on Video because Im just as funny on a camera as I am while your looking at your screen seeing me type.

On a serious note. I think the Infuse takes down the Atrix hands down. Bigger screen, Much better display, better connectivity, less heat, better camera quality and weight factor. If you want one of the latest devices. Go with the Infuse. Im gonna say this has to be probably the best Android Phone Ive ever owned. And Ive owned a bunch folks. But the Screen plays a big part on anything since thats what you touch and see while you use it. And I still have yet to see a better screen then Sammys Super Amoled.

I too have switched today. So far I completely agree with you, but I will not be as concise as you were. The only thing that got me was the dual core thing, but really how well was it being utilized on the Atrix? Dual core needs more development to be a real decision changer. I don't know about you, but I had 2 spare batteries and used all 3 everyday. I also watch alot of video and use gps all day. The heat coming off that thing was terrible. I already am loving the Infuse and can't wait to see how much better it will be on a day to day basis.

Great review, Terrigno! Thanks for taking the time to write that. I'm a little worried with how fragile you say this device is! :-\ Especially since there aren't really any quality cases out for it yet. Gonna have to carry it around in a tube sock or something... LOL.

Yeah good job Terrigno , My girlfriend and i went and got this phone today. I have the Droid Charge with im super pleased with but i got to be honest i found myself a little envious of the 4.5".

We got home from AT&T, i rooted her in like 2mins then we used the navi to take us to a mall over an hour a day and it was flawless. Great phone IMHO

I've been searching all over for an answer to this but no beans.. Does this phone include the Powercore graphics processor with the 1.2 Hummingbird? The Powercore is where the meat and potatoes lies in terms of performance on these devices in my opinion.

Great review man... I'm not sure about that 4'5 man. When I get the Inspire I traded for, I'll see if my thoughts on the screen have changed.

Thanks for the reply. Well I will say the Atrix wasnt totally utilized for the dual core processor. Basically that version of Android isnt. So in all reality, I cant give the phone enough time until it does get utilized. Its a fast paced world these days. The only main setter was the heat I got from the processor. Never owned a phone with heat constantly like that. Even though it had a case I could feel it get hot and that bothered me.

Thanks for the reply bud. The device is definatly fragile. So of course you would treat it carefully like you would any other $200 on contract item. Or $550 outright. I always baby my electronics though so Im not really worried about that. Its the weight of it. Its really light. Never held a phone as light as this one. But its durable quality.

Thats great to hear! Seems like the Infuse doesnt have the notorious issue with GPS that the Captivate did. Its a wonderul huge screen, but you still have LTE on that Droid Charge. True 4G in my books.

What do you mean the Inspire you traded for? You traded your Atrix for the Inspire? The Screen is not big to where its uncomfertible bud. Its big to where mixing that with Super Amoled+ is a real pleasure to see and have. I havent seen a better screen honestly. Its bright and clear and the colors actually pop out on you. It looks so good at times that you would think its fake, or like a display model with a beefed up Adobo Photoshop job :p

Terrigno, what about battery life? I keep reading how great the infuse is on battery so I would love to hear your impressions. Are you missing the notification light? I know its not a huge factor, but I really missed that blinking notification for new events when I was using the iphone 4.

Lastly, if the Galaxy S2 gets announced within your 30 days, will you be switching?

Great review man i too switched from the atrix and would have to agree with you on every part.

although i do notice slight heat on the phone not bad or even considered hot compared to atrix but it can be noticeable if you check like i do lol.

Ready to Switch but need most important info

Thanks all for so much info. I am ready to switch from my Captivate (previous Blackberry user) but I need to know whether the most important feature is available. I am on the road all the time. I used a Blue Ant T-1 headset. Previously, with the BB, I could use the push to talk feature with my T-1 headset. It is not an available feature on the Captivate. Does anyone know if the Infuse has this feature. I don't like to look down at the screen of the phone to make a call while driving 70mph in heavy traffic

Battery Life? Havent been able to moniter it honestly. But the phone reminds me of the Captivate. And if its like the Captivate, Ill be buying another Battery and having that to pop in if I mess with it to much. The Atrix battery was a beast, and this one is actually pretty good. Its bigger then the battery in the Captivate and with normal use, you should get a whole day out of the phone. If the GS2 comes before 30 days, I dont know if Ill switch. I like the bigger screen and the other specs arent enough to grab my attention because this phone is just as quick as the Atrix was. And the Atrix had simular specs.

lol. You know what? Thanks to the Atrix im gonna be an OCD Heat guy with everything I got now. That damn phone embedded the heat cycle in my hand already. I have felt it get sligtly worm after long use, but not HOT or even normally warm lol. Yup, XDA boys will be pretty quick with doing stuff. And Im sure we will have Gingerbread before Samsung officially releases it.

Yea i know im like crazy monitoring the heat now and yea its not hot or bad at all but i notice it because i look for it lol. Ever since my BB days ive been OCD crazy with every phone nitpicking little imperfections and next to my nexus S i cant find a single issue with this device!

Update on Battery: Same general moderate use the time is 2:15pm so i have been off the charger for 8 hours and im reading 75% battery life
id say ive done maybe 60-70 texts, i did about 1 20 minute call 4 3-5 minutes and about 15 emails sent, 30 recieved. i ahve twitter set to autosync every hour and my google account is constant syncing contacts calendar, and mail, with wifi on all day. again this is pretty moderate use over 8 hours so i will try and do a more strenuous test over the weekend.

yea the xda guys are great. Im also hoping to see some CM7 on this baby soon :) or a vanilla gingerbread rom

Thanks for the detailed update on the battery. After the huge screen, the big battery may be my next favorite feature of this phone. :D

No problem! yea im curious as to how it will handle some gaming through emulators and some 3d gaming but wont probably test that until i have a trip or this weekend.

And to those worried about the back cover dont! it is flimy and light yes but once it is snapped in it is super solid no creaking or moving at all!

That's so weird. My battery life has been horrendous. And even charging times for this phone takes hours .
