I have officially switched from the Atrix to the Infuse. Here is my review.....

That's so weird. My battery life has been horrendous. And even charging times for this phone takes hours .

what do you have running? so far i have only charged it once i plugged it in last night with about 15% battery around 1am and unplugged at 6am so that could be long but i always only charge my phone over night and have been very pleased with the battery life today.

What do you mean the Inspire you traded for? You traded your Atrix for the Inspire? The Screen is not big to where its uncomfertible bud. Its big to where mixing that with Super Amoled+ is a real pleasure to see and have. I havent seen a better screen honestly. Its bright and clear and the colors actually pop out on you. It looks so good at times that you would think its fake, or like a display model with a beefed up Adobo Photoshop job :p

lol... no, i'm not that crazy. 9700 + cash.

with the attain coming to at&t, i'm definitely skipping the infuse.

try wiping it and then starting from fresh. i usually try and wipe my devices when i first get them. then drain the battery all the way down and then charge it up again.

yea i did a factory reset on mine after i first got it as well.

Definitely good to give this a shot. Thats called a Power Cycle. Good thing to start fresh with just about everything. Yes the Attain will come to AT&T eventually. But those specs are not good enough for me to wait for it. I wouldnt say I downgraded to the Infuse from the Atrix. I would think this is an Upgrade honestly in my opinion. Im totally fine with leaving a Dual Core Processor in my Xoom Tablet instead of a phone for right now until they figure out a way to optimize the software to work right with the hardware.

Also, I do miss the 9700 I had to. That was the last BlackBerry Ive owned. Then I saw they came out with the 9780 and now the Touch Screen Bold is comming out. I kinda miss easy fast typing with the BB. But These Androids are just to good to switch back lol.

Terrigno, that review was nicely done. After giving my Atrix back to AT&T, and recently trying out the Samsung Galaxy tab, I've been giving a lot of consideration to either this phone or the Galaxy S2 as my next Android.

Thank you. The GS2 will be sweet. But its a matter of when they will release it. Who knows. Might be sooner or later. But either way, The screen wont be as big as the Infuse's and the Battery wont be as big either. So Im actually pretty content with the Infuse. Dual Core Processor Ive already expierenced right now with the Atrix and the Xoom. And My word is that I just dont think its ready for a phone until the software is optimized for it. The Xoom shoots and screams though. I love that device. No need for a different tablet. But the Atrix lacked a lot. Plus the form factor of it. Typing on it was a pain. I dont think I want to go back to a phone that has a 4" screen. Im sure we are gonna see a lot of these bigger phones in the near future.

You bring up an interesting point here about the Dual Core Processor. I wasn't very impressed with the Dual Core Processor on the Atrix. As far as the Battery is concerned, the extra capacity in the Infuse is a good thing, given the fact that it does have a larger screen, which tends to use a little extra juice... I was really hoping the Galaxy S2 would arrive on AT&T's network around the same time as the Infuse so I could compare these two side by side. However, as you pointed out, there is a delay with the Galaxy S2 for some unknown reason.

Ok, so I picked one up today. My thoughts:

-The infuse is huge. There is no way around it. I dont have small hands, but this thing makes me feel like Im holding a pancake. It really pushes the boundries of what I would consider acceptable. Im not sure I can live with a phone this huge.
-As far as speed goes, everything does move along swiftly enough.
-The browser is showing checkerboards while the phone renders the page. It's not the 1.2 ghz processor. My droid incredible has 1 ghz and I do not ever remember seing a checkerboard. The phone really gets into trouble while you are trying to move around the page before it has finished loading.
-The screen is very nice, no question. However, I think, the Atrix has a better screen. The higher resolution along with the smaller size just makes everything look alot crisper.

I am really interested to see if I get better battery life that the Atrix. Honestly, for me, I think this will go back and I'll have to wait for the GS2. We'll see though. I plan on putting the Infuse through its paces.

so i went ahead and factory resetted it. i emptied the battery and recharging it now. im going to time exactly how long it takes to recharge because it seems ridiculously slow.

I went to the store to hold one today and I don't get why people are saying it's so huge that they can't hold it. LOL I have small hands and it was fine in my hand and it's so light...

that's what she said...

I bought the Infuse yesterday....My fuse blew ! Its just superb...I never knew Super AMOLED Plus would be so magnificent....I really liked it a lot...gr8 phone...super fast and snappy..I never even thought how many cores it has...I even liked Touch wiz for that matter...I've heard that Infuse might get gingerbread before the end of May..not sure though...Even if it doesnt get, not an issue...rooting and custom ROMS are there..I am enjoying my phone ! Finally Samsung nailed it !

I've been charing my phone from empty for 3 hours and its only charged up to 56%. At this rate, it should be fully charged at around 6 hours. It this happening to just me? Btw I'm using the AC adapter it came with.

just let it charge fully for the first time and see if it takes that long after.

Yeah it should get better after it does it for the intial charge. But Keep in mind, the phone wont charge as quick as the Atrix did. Thats another downfall. The Atrix charged quick. So does the Xoom.

Well boys, enjoy your infuses. Mine is going back today.

Terrigno, Im really suprised you dont see a difference between the Infuse and the atrix in terms of speed and overall stability. The browser experience, for me, was a non starter. It was slow, locked up for 10 seconds at a time and the checkerboard was really annoying. The atrix, except when the browser initially delays in opening sometimes, has never slowed down. I dont know if that the dual cores or the 1 gig or RAM. Also, the phone is just too big. I will absolutely be trying the GS2 (suprise) when it is released. Maybe the slightly smaller screen will make it more attractive. Those spec bumbs should also do the trick. I really do like what Sammy has done though and the Infuse is definately a nice device.

Enjoy fellas.

id agree with Terrigno my infuse is the same as my atrix was in every aspect idk the phone feels lightning quick to me im really pleased.

And i was never saying people couldnt hold it as i have big hands and its a perfect fit for me :) but some people might find it to big that was all i was trying to say but i am happy with it although im probably somebody who could use the dell streak normally lol :p

How are you guys returning the atrix for the infuse? I like the atrix a lot but the heat and call quality leave a lot to be desired.
