I have officially switched from the Atrix to the Infuse. Here is my review.....

How are you guys returning the atrix for the infuse? I like the atrix a lot but the heat and call quality leave a lot to be desired.

they purchased within 30 days or they are just going to sell on ebay or craigslist

Well boys, enjoy your infuses. Mine is going back today.

Terrigno, Im really suprised you dont see a difference between the Infuse and the atrix in terms of speed and overall stability. The browser experience, for me, was a non starter. It was slow, locked up for 10 seconds at a time and the checkerboard was really annoying. The atrix, except when the browser initially delays in opening sometimes, has never slowed down. I dont know if that the dual cores or the 1 gig or RAM. Also, the phone is just too big. I will absolutely be trying the GS2 (suprise) when it is released. Maybe the slightly smaller screen will make it more attractive. Those spec bumbs should also do the trick. I really do like what Sammy has done though and the Infuse is definately a nice device.

Enjoy fellas.

Good luck on everything bud. See everyone is different. Like for me really I dont browse the net to much on my Phone. Thats rare when I actually do that. I never was to much into that. I got the Xoom, Laptop and Desktop mainly for that. But I could agree in a way that if I did browse the net a lot, I could see that part getting frustrating to me. I can totally understand you on that one. I think that speed issue has to do with the Ram. The more Ram, the faster everything will move. For me its not to much of a big deal about the size for me. Keep in mind that I did own the Streak and I loved it just cause the screen was so huge. That was a breeze to surf the net on. But I can see how people can get frustrated in that aspect also because of the slippery feel and the size, it can be a burden to handle for some.

id agree with Terrigno my infuse is the same as my atrix was in every aspect idk the phone feels lightning quick to me im really pleased.

And i was never saying people couldnt hold it as i have big hands and its a perfect fit for me :) but some people might find it to big that was all i was trying to say but i am happy with it although im probably somebody who could use the dell streak normally lol :p

I agree with you. I had the Dell Streak. I loved it really. If they pump out another one like that with everything updated such as processor, gingerbread, more ram and a better display I might have to jump on another Streak lol.

Atrix on ebay for a 1 day auction. Sold sunday morning. Hours later I was out to get the Infuse.

The Infuse fits pretty good in my hand.

Does anyone know if my 30 days starts again if my phone had to be replaced with a new unit because the other one was defective? Thanks.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but your comparison on the cameras is off. The Atrix totally doesn't have a 2.0MP front-facing camera.

terrigno, what is that clock/weather widget youre using? the infuse is my first android device so i dont have to much knowledge.:-[

Um. Yes your right. I appologize for that. I kept reading somewhere that they said it was a 2.0 FFC for some reason. But I stand incorrect on that. Your right. That would be the reason the FFC on the Infuse is better.

Beautiful Widgets in the Market. Buy the Pro Version. Every Android Device that Ive ever owned has had it on there. Even the Xoom.

The screen on the Infuse is absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure it's even better looking in person.

Indeed. Im suprised the picture actually came out that good when I took it. But the screen is extremely clear. Nothing looks faded at all. Everything is crisp and bright. And its 4.5". Gorgious display.

Terringo: awesome review.

Duvi: you have more phones than anyone I've ever virtually met. You even have more than I do.

Thank you kindly sir! :)

no it does not its 30 days from original date of purchase unless you just returned and bought a new one

I had my Atrix for 3 months before I returned it for the infuse. Actually, it was the 3rd Atrix I had so i demanded a different phone {1 per month.} All of them having some sort of defect and I was tired off it. You have a year if it is defective through no fault of your own. Then with a new phone and new imei number the store has to take it back, because the warranty returns dept. can not even process a phone with an imei number less than 30 days old.

I too think beautiful widgets is a must, but lately I go with 3d weather widget. It's similar, but really has a much nicer look. {also free from market}

So here is a question for you, I've been holding out for an upgrade from my iphone3g for the last 8 months because there just hasn't been a phone on the market that has won me over. My wife has a phone with a shot battery so we're looking to get her a new phone and upgrade both lines to keep the refresh at the same time.

I've been holding out for a dual core phone to ensure it won't feel slow down the line. I keep my phone for 2 years, so with that in mind would you buy the infuse and feel the tech will keep it from feeling slow if you were planning to use it for a full 2 year contract?

I was in similar situation as you as I couldn't decide to get Infuse or wait for GS2. I decided to go ahead as I was ready for a change now and didn't want to possibly wait until Fall for the GS2. As far as dual core vs single core I don't think there is a big difference at this time. Very few apps/games are actually coded to take advantage of the dual core processors. I know this will change over time and in two years I'm sure our phones will be SLOW!! For me though it was worth it as I was obsessing over changing phones and my wife couldn't take it anymore!:D I'm also planning on upgrading again within a year as I have another upgrade to take advantage of. I don't know if this actually will help you in you decision at all, but thought I would give you my thoughts.

Im new to the droid OS, any clue how to remove the temperature from the top left corner with beautiful widgets app? i dont need the temp twice on my front screen...

Im not noticing that much of a difference in speed with the Inspires 512MB of Ram and a 1.2Ghz Hummingbird Processor.

where in the heck did you get 512mb of ram on the Inspire 4G? Its clocked at 768mb. Please fix that in your review.
