i heard tmobile would update the lgg6 to oreo this month but

this months almost over and also if tmobile does get the update would it appear first at the lg firmwares site or at the same time that tmobile send it out ??

LG announced they will start updating on April 30th. That doesn't necessarily mean that carriers will have it ready to go.

I saw that it was expected to roll out on carriers by end of April. If LG is just handing it off to carriers now, then I won't expect any Oreo on my G6 before mid June/July.

It doesn't mean they haven't already given it to carriers several weeks ago, just unlikely to be released by the carrier today

supposedly tmo is already working on it, based on the software support page, https://support.t-mobile.com/community/phones-tablets-devices/software-updates . that being said, after lg announced the creation of their update center, im betting that the oreo update for our g6 was put on hold.

I would guess t-mobile. That's what happened with previous updates on my TMobile v10 after I switched to att.

There are a number of reviews out there so I won't go into it other than saying I find the phone a lot smoother with no noticeable hit to the battery life. The rest is incidental.

I wouldn't call the security updates stupid....its disappointing that we dont have oreo yet, but given the issues tmo seems to be having with all their updates I dont mind waiting

Seriously...I thought Sprint was terrible about updating, but now it seems like T-Mo is the only one NOT getting word about Oreo updates. I see today that the unlocked version is getting it...
