of course, anyone can do anything they want for any reason they wish.... but i don't understand turning off AOD to save battery.
i mean, it doesn't use much. but more importantly, you can put it in your pocket or face down, and the AOD shuts off.
so... you can have AOD on, never have it lit and using battery, and once in a while when you want to know the time or your alerts, just flip it face up and look... then flip over next.
