What do you want to do?
It's like getting a car shell and asking what to do with it. You can do so many things, yet it really depends on what your goals are.
Just to give you some ideas.
-You can now remove pre-installed apps
-You can install custom roms
-You can overclock the chip on the Droid
-You can theme the Droid
-You can change the boot animation on it
-You can modify files
-You can use root apps (that will allow you to tether, take screen shots...ect)
The list really goes on.

Question is:
What made you root?
Helps us help you.

i rooted for 2.1 animated back ground and maybey some good roms any sugestions and intructions?

Here are some app's you might want to look at that I use a lot since I rooted; Droid root pro, root explorer, and terminal emulator.

For an easy custom ROM install, I'd recommend going to DroidMod.org and downloading DMupdater. It makes installation a breeze.

Also, I'd recommend getting SetCPU from the market. Best 99 cents you'll ever spend. You can over clock for performance, and at the same time, underclock while your phone is idle, saving a lot of battery use.

Sounds like you want live wallpapers. Anything else? Most roms have that feature. I would recommend getting DroidMod. You will like it and its overclocked.

DroidMod 1.0 is an excellent ROM. I've been using their stuff ever since Sholes 2.0.3

With that being said, you can still get Live Wallpapers when you flash their ROM (it's an included option) but you can't truly interact with them (like on the Nexus One) without a 2.1 launcher. DroidMod stopped including their 2.1 launcher because it was too buggy. There are, however, downloads available on various forums for the 2.1 launcher. Be aware though, none of them are 100% stable though.

You can also user dxtop our gde. They both interact with live wallpapers.
