I just want a "working" voice assistant

Is there such a thing as a voice command that will read text messages when I'm driving, respond to the text from voice to text, and call someone when I tell it to?!?

Bixby should be able to do that. But it's in preview. Once it's out you can ask it to read latest messages and even mail from the Samsung mail app.

For messages, I do:

"read my latest message"

This even works with WhatsApp!

"Open WhatsApp and read my latest message"

I didn't try that kind of app yet. You can search on Google Play Store for this kind of app.

Have tried several to no avail. This one will do one thing right, and that one will do something else right, etc.
