I know this probably belongs in "Accessories" but....

Is there such thing as an actual CASE for my GS3 if I get THIS extended battery? I really want the battery but I don't wanna leave my phone susceptible to being damaged if I drop it. Right now I have a 3 layer case I got from eBay and I've dropped my phone a few times but not the tiniest of a smudge because of the case! Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I'm not sure a regular case would fit on your extended battery. That being said, put a screen protector on so if you drop your phone, it might hold the screen together from breaking. Also, look around for bumper cases, I guess those are better than nothing. Maybe you can even try making cases for yourself, pretty sure I saw some guides on website i.e. lifehacker. good luck!

Is it a bigger battery? Just wondering why it would leave it open to damage....

Choice #1
Choice #2

Don't know which one I want yet...

Go with choice 2. And get a silicone case or rubber or whatever. One that has a little give to it. U won't be able to use it when the regular battery is in as it will be stretched out. As far as I know there isn't an otterbox that would fit over that, I've only seen the factory size ones. U can keep an eye out. I always say Google it..........

Why do you say Hyperion over Gorrilla Gadget?!

Just wondering as I'm not experienced at ALL with extended batteries. You would think people would say to go with #1 !

Well, did the gorilla come with a back that fit? I didn't pay that much attention cuz it was late n I was seeing double. But I looked online and read good reviews on both. I did read that with these u have to fully charge and decharge a couple of times to get full effect. I think either one would be OK. There's not THAT much difference in batteries.

Yes, it does come with a back that fits.

Oh. Well I would say either one. I don't have one but may get one so I don't have to carry my charger every day at work.

Exactly. I carry 1 extra battery with me at all times because I have LONGGG school days (local Community College), and I play games, surf the web, etc. during my breaks so an extended battery would help me a great deal. I just wanna make sure I get the best one. I THINK I may go with the Hyperion... It's got some awesome reviews on Amazon.
