What I am doing is calling everyone who seems to think all these other distractions are okay, while attacking me, are hypocrites, and nothing more. You like to think you're being all high and mighty, but in reality that's all you are, hypocrites. The only difference between all those things iis possibly legallity in some states. Read this article on texting and driving titled: Texting and driving worse than drinking and driving. crzycrkr, you and people like you are going to kill someone someday. It would be tragic irony for you to get into a vehicle collision from someone else texting and driving. Also, It's not as though those other things aren't distracting, it's how much more distracting texting/emailing/web browsing is while you're driving. Think about how much concentration you put towards your phone while you are texting. It is only a matter of time before texting and driving is outlawed everywhere because of this (currently banned in 14 states).

First, I didn't start the post. Second, if you cant understand comparisons between possible distractions while driving, maybe you should withdraw yourself from the conversation and let the adults talk. I never said I was the exception. On the contrary, I think many people text and talk on the phone safely while driving. I'm sorry, I must have missed the part in those studies that said that everyone that texts while driving gets in accidents.

So, would it be okay if i happened to live in obe of the states where it is legal? I'm still amused that everyone keeps attacking rather than answering any of my questions or giving counterpoints. That speaks volumes.
