Android Central Question

My phone should not have switch to Daylight Savings time here in Phoenix. I use an LG G7 thinQ on the Verizon network.

Normally the date and time are provided from the towers, so maybe Verizon had a glitch. My V20 has date and time options in the main phone settings, so I suspect yours should to. Maybe one of those options could be changed to force the correct time.

Is the Time set to change automatically with the network time? If so, that's on Verizon (might be picking up a tower from a neighboring state if on the fringe?). If it's set to manual time, check that your region is set for Phoenix and not just Pacific Time

My phone, Galaxy, also changed on VZ network in AZ. I went in manually changed it back...then reset to auto update and it changed it again! My location is on...it shouldn't be doing this!

With two people on Verizon having this issue now, I'm guessing there's others. We are just a bunch of geeks and are not affiliated with them, Samsung, Google, etc. I'd suggest contacting Verizon directly on this, as I'm guessing their time servers (what your phone gets the time from) aren't reporting correctly and it's something they need to be made aware of in droves so they'll fix it. They may already be working on it for all we know, but still worth a call.
