Is there anyway to set the pop-up location towards the bottom of the screen?

Well, At&t didn't give us group messaging, so 3rd party apps are a must. What a brainfart.

its great with samsung i had to use 3rd party messaging app because there messaging app is so dull and boring.

My bf is a frequent texter and I think that feature is GREAT! It would get a bit tiring to stop what I was doing, go look at the messaging app and reply, then go back to where I was.

Now I can just tap in a quick reply and hit send. :-D

I like it but don't love it because I can't set custom notifications for certain contacts like I can with textra. Textra also has a popup window and it's really clean and fast.

Yes you can. Go into your contacts and edit them. You can change ringtone, notification, and LED. I tried Textra mainly for the group messaging, but the pop-up sucks compared to what LG has implemented.

Can someone supply a screenshot of this in action?

I love it too.

*I know it's not safe* My G2 is mounted in my car via Mountek and it's very useful, I can easily reply.

I also like that I apps pop up iimmidiately when I plug in the AUX/Headphone. In Note 3, for some reason it's in the Notification which I have to pull them to access?

I know about those what I meant is I cannot change the text tone for certain contacts. It comes in handy when I am expecting a certain text from someone and I know it's them when the phone isn't near me.

That is exactly what it does. I have it setup for my gf like that.

It's not the same on the Verizon version. For Verizon at least, not being able to change individual message alerts is SOP (ie not unexpected) for LG. My wife had a Revolution before she got her iPhone 5 and that was her main complaint about it.

And on AT&T I can't group message. Damn these providers.

I have we T-Mobile version as well. Please show me where I can change the text tone? I see ringtone but not text tone anywhere. I like to have a separate ringtone (a song) for when certain contacts call me and a different text tone (something short like a animal sound) for when they text me. I would go to stock messenger once I am able to change the text tone as well, I do love it's pop up much better.
