I love my M8 but the LG G3 looks pretty good.....

No way would I ever even consider an LG phone. I've returned two of them for Samsung. They always look good on paper, but man is their UI boring, and their features generic Samsung rip offs.

Yeah have fun with that buyers remorse. I'll be sticking with my M8.

No I meant the UI. I know the G2 is decent in terms of build quality. But I'm just wondering how the G2's UI is because some are calling it a Touchwiz clone. Yeah I tried the G2 for a short while and the UI was a lot louder than Sense.

I may be in the minority here but I liked the G2 stock ROM better than Samsung's touchwiz. But that's like saying I like going to the doctor more than the dentist, I'd prefer to skip both.

For the life of me I couldn't get over the buttons being on the back. One of the reasons I passed.

Well G3 is now officially out and specs are verified. Lots of reviews on youtube. Would you consider switching to the G3 from the M8?

I love thw bigger screen with just a tad bit bigger footprint. Ois camera. 13mp. Dual window functionality. Etc...... Im seriously considering it

G3 looks to be an amazing phone. In waiting until the iPhone 6 is released in order to pick which OS and which which phone I'm going to get. Hopefully the Sony Xperia Z3 is out and available in the T-Mobile stores or on their website.

Seeing the final specs has made me start thinking about it. I know MP isn't everything in a camera, but I think that plus OIS would get my vote over the M8's camera low light abilities. I'm also a bit of an audiophile, so the Boom Sound is soooo alluring, but seems the G3 is advertising a 1 watt amp. So my guess is they are trying to go head to head with the M8 there. Still, front panel stereo speakers... May take a hands on comparison to decide which phone is better over all for me, then there's the price. Verizon hasn't listed it yet, so not sure how that will play out.

I have not looked at the g3 yet but as far as speakers are concerned I can't possibly see how the g3 speakers could be better than the m8 speakers. They are so clear compared to any other phone I have ever used and louder than most if not all competition while retaining that clarity. They give a surround sound feeling in a quiet room and most importantly I don't have to cup my hand on the back of my phone while listening to redirect the sound forward to be able to hear it effectively in a semi noisy room. If speakers are your biggest concern you already know which one you want.

The g3 did look tempting however I also have issues with the UI and feel like 4k on the display isn't worth the performance and battery hit it takes compared to similarly specced phones with a 1080p display. Still loving the m8.

I'm questioning the display too, mainly due to the processor. It's not a big jump in speed over the M8 for something that pushes that many more pixels, so I'd be worried about lag when gaming. After reading the AC review of it, I'm starting to shy away again. Lol

Though I did notice the mention of the G3's ability to record 720p at 120fps. That's a really cool feature because it's like putting a high speed camera in your hands. If you plan to film a lot of sporting events and other action scenes, that would be great being able to use video editing software to slow parts of it down to .25X (30fps) when making highlight videos without the jerkyness you see as if you simply slowed playback on a DVD. Not something that would play into my decision, but cool none the less.
