I can't get it to work, I type the adb comand but nothing seems to happen.

Your edit wasn't very obvious, so I'll make a note of it here - in my case it was necessary to restart my phone before GSam started including the full breakdown of apps.

adb -d shell pm grant com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro android.permission.BATTERY_STATS

My emphasis here - note that there's a SPACE between com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro AND android.permission.BATTERY_STATS - I missed that the first time and assumed there was a period between them and that it was one long command - oops!
