I'm going to agree with the OP. I don't know if they're just making the signal look good, but in many places around my work and through my commute, the signal strength indicator for my T-Mobile reception is suprisingly higher than what I've seen on my previous Moto Z and iPhone 7 Plus.

I love my G6 but LG and every other manufacturer use different algorithms to display signal strength. The only reliable way is to use the same app that displays it in dbM

Pixel in general has terrible reception. I had most dropped calls on that thing out of all phones I have owned in the past 5 years.

I will admit I get better signal on my G6 (Verizon) than I did my Google Store Pixel XL.

I did but I liked how the G6 sounded. Also I could sell the Pixel and pay off what I owed / get some cash. Also Verizon still had the promo for swapping on my line and my buddy gave me his G5 to trade in so what they gave me for it covers the cost of the G6.. basically Verizon is paying for it .

Arguably, that's the most important aspect of the phone.

My favorite thing about the phone is how small it is with a big screen. It's very pocketable.
