i need help S9+S9+ and samsung smartwatch unpairing.

I just got a S9+ and a samsung smartwatch. I do not like the samsung smart watch and want to gift it to someone. I can't figure out how to unpair. Right now all Info is connected to my S9+.
I googled but don't understand it.
Can someone give me step by step for my S9+ details please?. Thank you

Yep, you have to reset the watch. Did it when I got my 9 and moved off of my 8.

Go into the Gear app and unpair the watch. Then factory data reset the watch from the watch. If the watch is an LTE model and the person you are gifting to isn't on your account you may need to call in to the support team for your carrier as LTE watches have embedded SIMs.
