I need help to port ril for any custom rom higher than nougat

My phone is samsung galaxy note 5 model n920p its a sprint device but i unlocked it to use gsm sim cards and sim cards works only on stock rom when i tried on custom rom pie and copied all the libs files and ril files i always ended up with unknown baseband and in ril log files i get
RILClient: Connect_RILD: Connecting failed. Connection refused(111)

The custom rom i am using is android pie one ui its base is note 8
With help of the dev we made a working kernel with all the ril requirements but the problem now is rom side any help please and thanks in advance

That's something you have to see if the developer of that ROM can fix , we can help with troubleshoot on a stock firmware

okay you said on stock firmware i flashed n920c stock firmware with my stock kernel and i got same results in log files as in custom roms its android 7.0

sorry for late reply yes it worked on stock and it is still working
what i did try is to install another model stock rom on my phone to figure out how ril works i did copy all required lib files and bin files and i couldn't make the sim to get detected or getting a baseband version in about phone

my model is n920p android 7.0
the rom i tried was n920c android 7.0
flashed stock kernel so its a system side only

Hi, yeah on different Rom we can't help like I mentioned earlier you'll need to try talk to the developer of it or play with things until you figure it out .
