I get the alert that there are 3 updates on apps but when I go to the market, I don't see which ones have an update. On my Evo, I immediately see which apps need updating with a message to the right of the apps name. What indicates which need updates?

I'm also using Beautiful Widgets and am trying to figure out what I need to enable to get the widget to show where I am. It seems as if it doesn't want to work if I don't let google collect info and store info on my phone. I don't think I had to do that to get it to work on my Evo.

For the updates, I just start clicking/tapping on apps and see if there is an update available. If not, back button and try the next. I don't know if there is a way to list only which need updated, but it doesn't take long for me to check so I don't mind. I don't like letting them auto-update. Manual mode allows me to update while under WiFi (no unlimited data for me, unfortunately).

Not sure about Beautiful Widgets.

In the market hit the menu button > my apps, and you should see the apps that need to be updated. You should see something similar to the screen bellow.

Well i had a similar problem, just scroll to the bottom and youll see them in the not installed section... after that i havent had a problem

I had the same thing happen to me earlier. Notification saying an update was available in one of my apps, I hit the notification, no pending updates.
I just shrugged it off.

I see the list of uninstalled items. I bet some of those items need updating on my Evo...I still have it during my 30 day tryout with Verizon. The apps are on my Evo but not yet on my Nexus.

Anything on the Beautiful Widgets question?

Hit your widget's weather area, hit menu button, then settings, then set location and manually enter a zip code so you don't need GPS.

I remember that I was able to do this on my Evo but now it still wants me to use the geolocator. If I cancel it, i'm not being given the option to enter my zipcode. I did get to one area to enter my zipcode through the accuweather site but that doesn't take.

The specify location option only leads me to the geolocation screen. No matter what I do on this screen, i'm not being given a zipcode option at this point.

Update: Got it to change but had to switch weather service to Google.

I had the same issue. It ended up being apps i had on my incredible that came pre installed on the nexus, like google earth, maps, facebook. They were showing as not installed when i looked at my apps in the market. From the home screen, settings > apps > all > market > clear data. Then go back into the market, accept the license agreement, and pull up your apps. Solved the issue for me.
