I need help with my new htc sensation xe

Hello,
I just got a new htc sensation xe, it was working fine and everything was great. Until I decided to upgrade it to the new ice cream sandwich os, i am new to android and i found the update in the settings. I downloaded it then I began the update. It said switching off and then thats it. It kept switched off for a while so I got worried and decided to try switching it on using the button but it didn't, I took out the battery and put it back but still nothing. I am new to android and don't know how these updates work so please tell me what I should do to switch on my phone and get it working again. I already tried force resetting (the hard reset) but it didn't work. Please help me.

Hi,
I also have the HTC Sensation and I've just done the update.
It takes ages for the update to install, close down start up again.
Mine sometimes does take a while to switch on I jut keep trying it. Remove battery again and hold down the power and it should come on.
Otherwise it's looking like sending it off for repair.
