i need help with samsung s5 camera

so, im with t-mobile bought my phone on craigslist S5 i had this phone (samsung s5) bout almost a year now. i have this camera issue it says "cannot connect to camera" then i restarted the phone but it didnt do anything at all, after that i clicked settings -> Backup & Reset (factory data reset) wonder it that will help but nope and now i dont see the camera app.
can anyone help on this?

just to make sure before i reboot my phone, will the camera app come back after i rebooted my phone?

i think this is the only option remained if you tried the factory reset from the settings, you could back up your apps using Helium, but if you are rooted you can search on youtube, there are a lot of tutorials of unrooting and reverting back to stock
