I need to turn off my Droid Turbo2 in order to replace it, without the use of the screen.

Android Central Question

I dropped my phone (as seems to be inevitable) and though the screen is not visibly broken,at all, only the top third of the screen recognizes touch so when I hold down the power button and option to "Power Off" comes up, I cannot press it. I can restart it over and over but cannot fully power it down. I can't get to settings, or use voice activation. The methods I have seen for other android phones (hold down power until it buzzes, then power and volume down, then press the power button) only result in restarts. I only want it to turn all the way off.
