I really want Footprints back!

I just flashed Myn's RLS 5 and was convinced it was going to be my main ROM until I went to place a Footprints widget on my homescreen and it was gone.

Am I the only dum-dum that likes and wants this app? If so, is there a way for me to reinstall it? I even tried going into the car dock mode, but no response when I clicked on Footprints.

In searching the forums, the only hits I am getting for Footprints are as bullet points in devs changelogs heralding its removal from their ROMs. I guess there is a reason why most devs exclude it, but I'd like it back if there is a way for me to get it.

For people who don't travel, I can see it being relatively useless, but why is it being so universally excluded from most custom ROMs?

On the sd card, myn includes a folder called RemovedApps. Install HTCfootprints.apk.

On my phone (running Warm TwoPointTwo), the ROM puts a folder called "Warm_2.2>Optional1" on my SD card. You will want to install both Footprints and the FootprintsWidget.
