I receive other notifications BUT NOT messeges

I receive all over notifications except for my messages... Which to me, is the most important. I have smart relay off. Made sure messages are checked in my manager.. Still nothing. Any ideas? Also on Verizon. Thanks guys.

Are you using Verizon text app or samsungs? If you're using Verizon then it won't work

I am using the default Samsung messaging app. It was working before I switched my default to Evolve. Then I just decided to switch back over to Samsung and I can't get them to show up. Hmph.

I had that problem when I first got my gear had to reset it and it worked fine every since

I have to say the Verizon app does work I use it instead of the default. In notifications I check off the default and still get alerts although I use the Verizon app to send and receive.

I reinstalled the manager while driving into work. Fixed the issue. Thanks guys.

I have to say the Verizon app does work I use it instead of the default. In notifications I check off the default and still get alerts although I use the Verizon app to send and receive.

You can get notification from any message app but the difference is reply from the watch. Unless you have the Samsung Message app as default messaging app, you won't be able to reply or even compose messages on the watch to send through the phone's number. However, if possible, you can run two messages apps side by side but make sure leave the Message app as default.

I can reply so again Verizon messages app works as long as u check the default messaging app for notifications instead of the Verizon messaging... You can respond.
