I recently changed my pattern on my S8, that I now forgot. I also use the fingerprint option

Now my phone wont allow me to access the phone with the fingerprint. I followed the steps on find-my-phone. I have a Samsung account where my phone is registered. In order to find my phone I need to go online (wifi) with my phone, but my phone is locked?? it shows that wifi is on but I'm not sure. Is there another way to unlock the phone?

Take it to a phone shop, they can use another device to log you into your account...
