I decided to return my 6p as well, especially since I was able to get the G4 for basically free via Verizon's crazy buyback promo.

Looks like mine is going back. Count me in as one of the ones who's "unibrow" started cracking. Went to bed last night and woke up this morning with what appear to be 2 stress cracks developing. Phone has been in a frost adopted case since day one.

Was the phone charging overnight?

Starting to wonder if the theory behind heat generated from charging is true

having bluetooth issues with 2015 camaro. if unable to fix at dealer on tuesday, it is going back.

I have a 2014 Camaro. Streaming music over bluetooth worked fine for a few days and now it there is interference sound every minute or two. Haven't really tested it out long term but I had the same issue with my Note 4 at the start before it worked pretty well after.

Yeah, I always charge my phones overnight.

Ive only charged mine once since getting it last Wed. (SIM isnt working yet so Im not daily driving with it)....will check out my rear glass.

SIM arrives today so Ill be using it more than I have been which will require more charge cycles and maybe the problem shows up, or doesnt.

Kinda disheartening....I really like the phone and have found nothing wrong with mine (other than the low headphone volume but that seems to be a design issue), would hate for something to show up right at the end of my "trial" period (14 day return policy)

Maybe i'm just getting used to it, but mine had an orange/yellow hue when I first used it, and it *seems* to be going away. like the whites look just a little whiter. Especially at the very dimmest setting. It's still a warm AMOLED compared to Samsung Galaxy displays which are just better calibrated.

Bend gate, crack gate, volume gate screen gate, I was lookingp at getting phone to hang on to it for some time, but I'll think I'll hold back and wait for smoke to clear

Even with all those "gates" I seriously wonder what (if any) fixes Google will force Huawei to employ

I absolutely love this phone. I've never owned an android phone where I can type over 60WPM and not get some kind of keyboard lag. The screen is beautiful, and I have an S6 Edge and just don't think the warmer whites are a deal breaker.

it's also a metal phone, with a huge amount of glass, at $250 - $300 less than the Apple counterpart. It's going to be fragile. This isn't the LG V10 or the Turbo 2. I have to imagine people are being a little too careless with their devices. When I spend $500 up front for something, it's my baby. I'm going to lightly set it on a table, and not put it in my back pocket. So I can't subscribe to the physical issues are people having. There needs to be substantially more glass cracking reports than what there is right now for me to start to be concerned.

This is an A+ phone, but because it's so dang awesome you want to baby the thing and caress it. Whisper sweet nothings to it. Buy it flowers. I've had no hardware issues so far. If anything it's exceeded my expectations. When I first ordered this phone I had no idea what I was getting.

Without a doubt the best phone I've ever ever had. Battery life is great - lasts all day without needing a charge, I get strong data signals in the BART tunnels where every phone I've owned lost signal, the screen looks great.

I'm more than happy with the screen. Great phone.

Man, that is definitely not good. I was one of the skeptics of the issues with this phone and these random cracks, bends, breaks. But it's definitely sounding like there is more and more legitimacy to them. I still have my graphite 128gb on order, but I'll definitely be on edge hoping nothing like this happens when my phone is just sitting around. I baby the crap out of my stuff, so if this happens, it won't because of my carelessness.

.

Sorry to hear that. Do keep us informed on how google handled the issue. I guess as long as it is under warranty they will have to send in a new device to those that go through the issue since its widely reported now.

This issue in particular is scary. Because it makes sense WHY it would happen and Im not so sure how they could change anything to prevent it (I did read they had to add small nubs on the back of the Nexus 4 glass backing so that only the nubs would touch a cold surface)

Now if its an issue of it warming up then hitting a cold surface, a case could at least prevent it. But if its shattering just from heat generated via charging then its a much bigger issue.
