I searched, didn't it find. Coming from S2 question about SD Card

I had a Samsung Epic Touch Galaxy S2 and just bought the Galaxy S3 last night. When I take the SD card from the S2 do I have to format it in order for it to work and have the galaxy s3 pick up the pics and stuff from it? I was really hoping I wouldn't have to transfer everything to my computer, format it, then transfer everything back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No it should work just fine. If you have any trouble with recovery seeing it, you will have to make sure it is formatted in fat32 or fat 16. Recovery doesn't see sdcards formatted in extfat.
