I set up my Hotmail account on Moto G4 with Android 7.0 now I don't see it

I went to Settings>Accounts> Add account>Personal (IMAP) and put in all information for my Hotmail account. But I don't see an icon to access my Hotmail anywhere. What did I do wrong? Should I uninstall and use Exchange?

Did the email app tell you that the account was added successfully? If so, go to the main screen for the email app, and tap the Menu button (or swipe in from the left). Do you see the Hotmail account listed there?
