I Spooked my Mac address and now I have no wifi connection, how can I get it working again?

Hi all... i spooked my mac address on a galaxy ace. All went well. I rooted the phone and used busybox and terminal emulator. TroubleIis now it disconnects from my wifi. I have tried everything I can think of but no joy... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm new enough to this so excuse my stupidness......
