I still have 2.11.605.3 on my TB and there is not OTA update.....

It seems to be rolling out in stages. Just give it time.

You're stock and not rooted, correct? And you've done a manual check? If so, just hang in there.

I checked and got a message that there was an software update. I tried to download it and it wouldn't download. Now when I check, it says there is no update available!

First off read every other 100 threads about the same post u just made. Or go to menu - software update - check new.

I have tried several times a day and on different days to download and up grade everytime I get the error service is unavailable only once did I get a little hope that a new version was availalble and when I hit ok to download the update app just closed I still have 2.11.605.3 on my phone. My wifes never got that update so Im gonna try and see if it will download on hers.

update: my wifes phone updated 149mb with out issue so I did a restart on mine and tried the update again this time it worked my update was only a little over 13mb but now we both have ver. 2.11.605.5.
to the last poster that number is the software number

Okay now I'm really confused. My phone had been refurbished when I got it. Is that why my stuff seems to be messed up? Here's what it says under the "Software Information" tab:

update: my wifes phone updated 149mb with out issue so I did a restart on mine and tried the update again this time it worked my update was only a little over 13mb but now we both have ver. 2.11.605.5.
to the last poster that number is the software number

Wow, you have really old software. I beleive that is the MR1 release. Does your phone reboot a lot? How long have you had this refurb? I'm sure you'll be getting an update soon.

My phone was rebooting a lot and I got the phone in June if I remember correctly. I ended up downloading the update from Android Police. Even though I didn't want to go through restoring all my apps/data I was frustrated with not getting the update and decided to pull the trigger. So far it everything seems to be in order.

Hmmm, not sure what you installed because the update that fixed the reboots was software number 1.70.605.0. You still have the software number known for reboots. No idea why you haven't received an update yet, you should have. I would either call Verizon and tell them you have really old software and its not updating or manually install the latest update.

For what its worth, when I booted up my phone this morning, there was a message advising my software had been upated by Verizon. I did not have to 'request' the update at all. it was done for me. Just to be sure, I did go to Settings, Software update, and 'check new' after seeing this message, and it then said no updates. I now have 605.5. Sweet.

After I got both phones update they seem to be working fine and I haven't had any issues with GB on either
